In general, I think that the kids of K11 just aren't as close to each other as we all had imagined in fanfictions and general conversation before the couples became canon.

I just mean as far as like a large group. Sure you have smaller sets of friends like Boruto/Shikadai or Sarada/Chouchou. I always saw in fanfictions however, frequent K11 get togethers where all the new gen kids were hanging out at someone's house. Sarada would have a casual friendly relationship with Hinata and be like a big sister to Himawari. Boruto would refer to Sakura as Aunt Sakura. Etc...

In the anime/manga, the kids do seem to know each other, but it just feels like passing familiarity or just like their only connection is that their parents know each other and nothing more. Who knows if Sarada even knows Himawari.
