The word is amatheia and it was used by the ancient philosophers to describe a state where someone is incapable of learning but not because of a lack of intelligence. With the way the world is going the East-Asians are the only hope science and technology as we know it have of being sustained but honesty of mind consists in trying to see the world as it is, and not as we would like it to be.
