2. At no point after Rin's death did the manga ever hint at adult
Obito still thinking about Rin in a romantic or sexual way. Rin's death was just a catalyst for Obito to embrace Madara's ideology, and the memories of Rin and team Minato were just inspiration for Obito to keep persevering in his journey to bring world peace via infinite tsukuyomi (as seen when Obito overcame the juubi trying to rip his consciousness apart)

3. Apparently, you people who think that Obito is a pedophile must believe that if someone you love dies, you must erase that person from your memories and never speak of them again. If you speak of them again, you're bad, and if that person just happened to be your love interest then you're a pedophile.

Also, death just makes a person stop aging physically/spiritually (since they don't age in the after life). Chronologically though Rin and Obito would always be the same age. Therefore even if Obito did still want Rin sexually, it would be a 30 yr old and a 30 yr old.

Um, Gaara was abused emotionally and physically by his Father, his Uncle, and his entire village. Gaara had a mad demon in his head that plagued his dreams and told him to murder. Gaara grew up believing that his mother died hating him and cursing his existence, and that she was now a vengeful spirit sated only by the blood of his enemies.

Obito grew up with dozens of classmates and friends. Obito had a nurturing mentor and father figure. Obito earned the respect and admiration of a new best friend. Obito laughed and dreamed. Obito's only hardship was watching his (not) girlfriend die in war, but later accepted that it was her decision and that she died for the greater good.

Gaara grew up to become the beloved Kazekage who died protecting the village that once hated him. Obito grew up to be the hated instigator of the end of the world, and was the cause of the deaths of hundreds who once loved and respected him.

But yeah, they're comparable.
