The British Empire in land mass is the largest ever, surpassing The Mongols. Mostly, in African side anyways, the Brits rarely did pound or over power the enemy. They were mental strategists. Buying local rebels to fight against the Kings in power to win as the last resort. The first being negotiate pieces of land around the kingdom with Gold and tools. I ask from your history learned about them if they can be mentioned in the same breath as The Qin dynasty, The Mongol Empire etc since those were direct warriors. Keyword "British Empire" not the medieval Anglo Saxon warriors.

Well both british and mongols were responsible for massive no. of deaths so yeah

Well someone had to get the job but my point is form of combat and strength. They were more of strategists than brawlers and destroyers like Vikings, Barbarians, Mongols etc.

The land area difference between the Brit's empire and the Mongols' isn't really that significant. The Brits had the advantage of technology to conquer the same land area whereas the Mongols did nothing for thousands of years then suddenly conquered half the world on horseback in less than a century before settling down and doing nothing again. The Mongols are strangely unique.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "in the same breath?" How are we comparing them?

They were the largest empire and were considered a superpower of that era.

Mongols were amazing warriors but terrible rulers. They were Nomads, and were not good at just settling down and ruling the nations they conquered. They eventually pretty much just up and left.

When is their round 2?

Tea Rebels > Some asian playboy. :|
Are you referring to the dude who conquered so much of the world through violence alone as a playboy?
