No you didn't...
You can really comment on something you don't understand, to be a black woman is a struggle. The life of a black woman in American, hell anywhere in the world is hard. You have to work 4 times as hard because you are a double minority. You have to be non emotional, because you will be consider the anger black *****, but not to emotionless because you will be deem as having a attitute. Being a woman you are heavily judge on your appearance, and being a black woman is 100 x more judgment, you have to Becky it up or your too unproffessional or ghetto. And then you can be not black enough. It's hard out here, and to have our own throw us under the bus, espeically when he need to be united with all that is going is, is sickening.
I don't want to raise a black daughter in this world or a son for that matter.
This sadly is true. I can't imagine what it's like living in America.
That's where everything is happening, is it? The good and bad, it all happens there and sadly, the bad is just as big as the good so you get everything at its best or worst.
That's why I can't imagine living there. I'm all not so black on the inside (I will never say I'm white on the inside), but I'm still black on the outside. Family roots point me to being historically white, but it is what it is now. I'm black as they come, so **** all this mentality that white blood is somehow thicker than black blood.
We're all coming from the same ancestor if we trace ourselves back to where it all started. Humanity started from somewhere and I'm sure we didn't just come in large numbers. It had to start from two people and that's why I can never understand the segrational treatment from either races.
For those reasons you've mentioned and more, I wouldn't choose to be neither race if I had a choice. I'd rather be something else completely than be discriminated or be among a discriminating group people.
Ironically, whites were claiming Michael Jackson when his skin was white. :lol But I have nothing to say to that because I don't understand their behavior either just as they're confused of ours.
I'm colored/mixed by the way, so **** all races. They're all to blame.
