You say he didn't face anybody else, yet canonically he faced Obito w/ 1MS + Hashi cells, Ay, Bee ( 8 tails Perfect Jin ), thousands of Shinobi, dealt with the Nine tails etc etc. What's more is the fact that he never lost a fight canonically while alive. Only ones to put him down for a while were JJ's.
