I will write some text. Read the text and than answer 2 question in the end.
All this is just my opinion.
Ok I think Itachi could be perfect villain. He had all potential until Kishi ruined that by making him good.Lets think about it.
What we knew about Itachi at the beggining of manga.
Sasuke main goal was to kill certain person and restore his clan. We later found out that this person is Itachi. He killed his entire clan ,clan that was said to be one of the strongest in Konoha. And he did it all alone ( thats what we are told at the beginning). I thought man how strong this guy is ?
He was portrayed as very mean guy .Later we found out reason why he killed his clan ( fake reason ) and that reason is to test his abilities.I mean WTF how crazy this guy is. Killing his clan just to test his abilities.
And we found out that he spared Sasuke just because he was not worthy of killing he was pathetic and weak in his eyes. He even told him hate me and come and find me if you want to kill me , and said this like he knew that Sasuke will never be able to do that.
Later Itachi showed how he doesn´t care for his village showing us again how he is heartless. Also he humiliated Sasuke in fight. Remember all that hype Chidori had and how easily Itachi catch Sasuke hand and simply saying Chidori without showing any sign of impression.
Hype :
To understand his hype we must remember hype of Hiruzen and Orochimaru . Hiruzen was said to be the strongest Hokage in history and strongest of 5 Kages. And Oro is guy who killed him .Yet Orochimrau admit he cant defeat Itachi .
So my questions are :
1. Do you think Itachi could be good villain ?
2. Do you think Kishi had something like this in his mind but he changed that and made Itachi good ?
