All facts

ADULT Sakura is independent and self sufficient compared to traditional women who were always dependent on their parents or husband and whose life revolves solely around their households
-

ADULT Sakura has the capability of handling both household and office work proficiently compared to traditional women (balance), she's career career-oriented to say the least.

-

ADULT Sakura has acquired renowned status in the village as it's strongest healing ninja using her abilities and has the competence to have a voice among the NV Political leaders or Kages. An example of that would be the gathering of the kages in gadien; before Sasukes departure.

-

ADULT Sakura is financially independent and responsible. — She makes her own money and pays for her own things/bills. Sakura working as a doctor and having a home/loan in her name means she never has had the expectation of being financially supported.

-

ADULT Sakura doesn’t have time for bullsh*t and takes immediate appropriate action without hesitating. An example would be her blitzing Shin without a moments notice which concluded his shenanigans or immediately going into action to protect the villagers/innocent bystanders from danger during Momoshki's tangent.

-

ADULT Sakura stands strong by her convictions. An example being Sakura countering shins vauge look at relation by reinforcing her understanding and concierge message of, parental connection not being subject too or limited too genetics.

-

ADULT Sakura has no practical need for man outside of personal endeavors (if that) She makes her own money, pays her own bills and managed her and her daughters like exceptionally well without the influence of a man.

Kishi should've betrayed her this way in the beginning. Anyway, just a postive Sakura thread.

I agree. She is what a modern woman is these days.

But she should check her daughter out. Modern society all 'n good but Sarada needs different clothes.

Cool.

Edit: I actually agree with most of this, most importantly tho, had Sakura been like this since maybe early to mid shippuden at least it would of done wonders for her character as a whole, and probably negated a lot of hate towards her... this portrayal oddly enough would of been more realistic than what she was, considering kishi wanted her to be "more realistic"

You can get all that from two seconds of screen time?
A majority of this is off of Gaiden but it it undeniable fact that Sakura raised Sarada alone.

I agree. I kind of read something like this in narusaku.com lol
well the gist is that

One of the reason's Jane Austen was such a ground breaking author in the early 1800s was that the women she portrayed actively changed and made a change on the world they lived in. And that was how they accomplished their goals and won their true love. Only through their own action.

Before Jane Austen, every single novel with a female heroine was awarded her final goals and true love only on the basis of her goodness. The hero finally realized how sweet and kind she was and awarded her with the prize of his affection and whatever else it was she wanted. Very much like Cinderella. But the woman never changed. She may have stood up for herself, but she never went very far out of her comfort zone to actively change her world, or even actively reject it.

So I bring this up because Hinata is very much the pre-Austen version of female heroine. She does a little, within the confines of her role, never truly outside of it, and is thus rewarded for her good nature.
And, this is important, she is rewarded because the object of her desire finally recognizes her. Not because she has gone out of her way to draw attention to herself.

Sakura however is the modern girl, an Austen-worthy heroine and seeks a modern love with Naruto.

She is active rather than passive, at every turn, in every situation. Even in her misguided love of Sasuke early on, she is the one who breaks the norms and runs out in the middle of the night to stop him. It doesn't work, but Sakura shows she is capable of breaking out of what's acceptable to get what she wants. She continues to work toward this goal, not just of love or change for another person, but of bettering herself to be a better teammate and better protector and healer for her village.

If she was a "strong" woman she would call out Sasuke on not even making an attempt at communication with her and her daughter.
If she was a "strong" woman she would cut ties with such a man and not floor herself as a doormat the moment he returns.

She is a mordern woman in the sense that she got pumped and dumped and raises a child alone and pretends that she is married.

So Sakura isn't included in the category according to the manga, because I'm pretty sure she was crying and begging for Sakura like a horny dog. She basically became his doormat.

:lol
Still doesn't change the fact that in gaiden Sakura never begged Sasuke to notice her. In fact he went full Susanoo to rescue her, to me that's about as much attention as you can get from Sasuke. Only time he used full Susanoo was when the world was ending.

She wouldn't had needed to be rescued if she didn't heal Shin like a complete dumbass. She should've let him succumb to his wounds and solo the other clones.

And yeah, it was Gaiden. We barely got any SS moments. Besides, Sakura got what she wanted anyway, but it still doesn't change the fact that she cried and begged for him like a dog for 99.9% of the entire series.

:lol

Yes, I love that Sakura is.
She is an army wife. Taking care of her child. This is a touching scene, you feel so powerless when they are sick. For her to be the worlds greatest medic and for her baby to be sick is humbling.
