I dunno.... sm nardo got pretty far... minato doesn't have the sm sensory though(I'm assuming alive minato here) but he's a lot faster... I see pain taking this tbh... if minato can take out the reviving path, and somehow mark the rest, he could probably take them out, the shared vision kinda kills his speed advantage.. although he could spank deva with that 5 sec delay if deva was marked

Naruto had full knowledge, Tendo was on a cooldown and Naruto was much more equiped to fighting Pain than Minato could be lol.

Shared vision and Pain's fast reflexes ****s up Minato's day, he can't fight all the paths in CQC, and he doesn't have anything that can counter Pain's shared vision, he also lacks knowledge on the Rinnegan's six paths techniques, so he's always at risk of getting his soul sucked or getting how chakra absorbed, or getting black rods jammed through his body, his Taijutsu and physical attacks aren't doing shit either, so he really can't do much here, eventually a powerful enough ST breaks every bone in his body and kills him.

YOu're right. But just because Naruto defeated Pain, it doesn't mean everything Naruto had and did are the only things that would defeat Pain. Minato was a Kage for crying out loud. Heck, I would even consider a victory for Tsunade if she waasn't spent already during the invasion. I'm just saying that Minato could have handled Pain differently and still won. Minato waas hailed as someone who could wipe out dozens of opponents in instantaneous manner. His quick combat style can counter the Rinnegan's shared vision.
But it isn't absolute victory. These are all educated speculations in my part.

I see. Naruto is, no doubts better equipped to handle Pain. Still, I wouldn't close the doors for Minato defeating Pain. I mean he is Yellow Flash for a reason. I believe he is more than able to stand a fight against th esix paths.

Minato can only attack one at a time unless they're shoulder to shoulder or in a line(which would be ridiculous) plus the summons also have rinne, it's a game of strategy really, if mina can take out the reviving one and probably the summoning one off the bat he might have it. Yeah, i would also give it to Pain more than I do to Minato. Naruto only gained intel through Katsuyu. I think it is only fair enough to let Minato have that intel.

Without intel for the both of them, then Minato might have the advantage over Naruto.

Pain kills him comfortably. 1 Shinra Tensei is enough to leave him in bad shape if Pain isn't dicking around. The chameleon+Deva Path/Asura/Naraka are a bad combo for Minato due to his lack of widespread jutsu, lack of firepower, and his inability to see the chameleon. (Sensing doesn't work since Ma and Pa needed a special jutsu despite being capable of sensing chakra.)

Stop it. He didn't learn sage mode while edo. He already confirmed that. The fact that he can go into the mode means he has insane chakra levels since it's a prerequisite for the mode in the first place. He can spam clones as liberally as he chooses. He has the reserves the do so.

You can't enter sage mode without immense chakra. You can't spam clones without immense chakra. He has immense chakra therefore he can do both.
