I was reading Naruto chapter 259, until I came across a page where Itachi put Naruto in a genjutsu using his finger. How is this possible? Can someone please explain it lol

Apex made a thread explaining why Itachi could cast Genjutsu from any part on his body, which is true.
Itachi merely directs his chakra through a targeted location, and his target is caught in Genjutsu. Simple & broken.

When you think about it, it doesn't matter what body part one uses; it's the victim looking at the body part that inflicts the Genjutsu. Apparently Uchiha eyes have increased potency in this regard due to Yin chakra manifesting through their eyes, but that doesn't mean that Genjutsu is inherently specific to eye contact.

Itachi is broken and hax as he himself said kabuto would use his genjutsu to control the alliance and war and the moon was shown....which means he could cast genjutsu on the moon.
