Neji being made the leader of the Hygua clan pretty much means he was the second best after Hiashi. THAT'S HORRIBLE, as the gap between the two seems to be WIDE. The second best of the clan is a 17 year old who's mid Jonin level at best? That's bad. Quite frankly, their should had been prime Hygua's rolling around who were stronger than a 17 year old Neji. The fact that there wasn't seems to mean that there was just Hiashi, a few low to mid Jonins, and a lot of Chunnins. That's not good for those who are saying that Hygua's>Uchiha's. No way.

Hyuga clan members were the oldest , most accomplished and were the most well known clan in Konoha , they also had the most elite blood flowing through their veins meaning they were naturally very gifted fighters.

Going by manga their more experienced Jonins or members of the Main fam should all be elite jonin levels as normal jonin like Genma/Raido can be safely placed on the low-mid jonin tier.

Neji is the most skilled Hyuga in history of hyuga taijutsu and he has stronger blood than all others in the clan so by Pain arc he'd probably be High Jonin Level. Neji was alrerady Jonin level at the start of p2 , even if we assumed he was mid jonin level at the very start , he'd obviously progress since that time and became stronger.

Nope, databook clealry says Kaguya had Byakugan before eatin Chakra fruit. Add on that the Juubi shows no signs of the Byakugan and that Kinshiki too has Byakugan despite never eating a Chakra fruit, and that is just more proof it is the natural eye of the aliens.

Of course they are the strongest after the Uchiha's have been killed off. Still Part 2 Neji isn't that impressive, yet he's the second best they got. I'll give Hiashi his props, he's Kage level, but the others must be low jonin to chunnin level if they are weaker than Neji, who is probably only Mid Jonin at best, which let's remember is still really good for a 17 year old. Problem is, 17 year old Neji is stronger than the rest of the adult Hyugas who therefore are probable low jonin to chunnin level. There should be MANY Hyugas of Neji's strength lying around but they aren't.

He was the second strongest, implied because he had the most potential Hyuuga talent, and the most gifted despite being born in the Branch Family. No one truly knows how many Elite Hyuuga are there. Only the relevant ones have been introduced and matter.

Neji have not shown anything noteworthy after part 1 and the only strong Hyuga in the Manga is Hiashi who is easily Kage level, maybe when they said "the top of his clan" they meant that he is the top of the side branch. maybe there are other Hyugas who are or were superior to him. maybe there are legends like Madara and Hashiram in the Hyuga clan history. IDK

Logic dictates that Hyuga could never be the most accomplished clan praised as having the most elite blood of all clans , if they had ntn but piss poor jonin and chunin levels. They could never be referred to as the most prestigious fighters or praised as having the most elite and accomplished blood out of everyone if they didn't have capable fighters beyond low-mid Jonin level who help build that reputation.

The older and more experienced members apart from Hiashi should all be Elite jonin level fighters based on canon evidence regarding the accolades of the clan , which was gained and rooted before Neji hyuga was born. So no , they cant be chunin level to low jonin at best , not in this Manga with canon evidence contradicting that line of thought entirely.

A clan full of adults from past and present who were unable to pass Chunin to low Jonin level in power would never be praised as having the most elite and accomplished blood without having many accomplished and high tier elite fighters , nor would they be the most well known, respected, or admired for past achievements if they could hardly push beyond Low jonin to chunin level as experienced Adults.
