Re: The ignorance of Trump supporters
Fair enough. I actually belive in Climate Change to an extent, "Climate Change" not Global Warming. But the whole thing is being very mixed up and blown out of proportion, and it overshadows real actual, big problems that are currently affecting us and should be the main priority. Hundreds and hundreds of people dying, countries pointing guns at eachother, people pointing fingers at eachother, many of us may not feel it or see it but things are slowly heating up, and when it comes to pollution, hunt and pollution has been off the scale in the old world for who knows how long, but oh... Climate Change, pollution in USA, first world problem. The world is going to sink! Or dry, we're going to run out of oxygen, think of the animals oh no.
It really saddens and angers me how people don't analyze the situation and see the bigger picture. They've been brainwashed so hard to the point where they just say stupid stuff and act like Donald trump's withdraw is the end of the world without even looking into it
You're talking about hundreds of people dying from war, yet thousands are currently dying from Climate Change.
The Middle East is rising in temperature and in a decade, it is said that it would be so hot that would be uninhabitable. So if you think the Syrian refugee Crisis is bad, then what do you think would happen when hundreds of millions of people start to migrate due to Climate Change?
A huge population of Africa is already migrating into other nations because of the heat, which also causes drought and famine.
You have the sea levels rising which engulfs island nations and devastates coast populations. And this is just the beginning.
The past few years have been the hottest years on record. And the temperature just keeps rising.
And the rise in heat also warms the water which causes storms, such as hurricanes, to be more destructive. One even managed to cross an entire ocean recently.
I'll repeat myself, the U.S. is the only nation in the entire world that doesn't take Climate Change seriously. The rest of the world knows without a doubt that climate change isn't just a national problem, but an international problem and a MAJOR threat to the human race.
And again, scientists from around the world are saying that if we don't take drastic measure within a short window of opportunity, then within a few decades we will see the full devastating effects of Climate Change; and within a hundreds years, if we continue with the current trend, most, if not all of humanity will be wiped out because of Climate Change.
I am fairly certain that is a more pressing matter than terrorism, which Climate Change is also a factor in. One of the facts in the Syrian civil war was because of drought which lead to civil strife.
