Madara even without all the other power ups is just too strong. If the guy can reverse Edo Tensei of his own will, what make you think he couldn't overcome Itachi's abilities.

Not trying to downplay Itachi. The guy is boss. But let's not overestimate his abilities.

Edo tensei clause allows the user to undo the contract once they are released. It wasn't his will overcoming edo tensei.

Lol EMS and above won't even be a fight. Itachi can only beat up to MS madara. That too if he is healthy, otherwise madara would just outlast him. Madara absorbed amaterasu in cannon. Tsukuyomi doesn't work against MS and above. Madara has stronger susano and far more experience. And as for izanami/izanagi, lol at people thinking madara would fall for that. In fact if it comes to that, madara has more chances of pulling it off due to knowledge he has compared to itachi. Dude knew about kaguya and hogoromo. What is izanami and izanagi to him.

EMS and above isn't debatable for obvious reasons.
MS Madara is superior to MS Itachi at almost everything.
The fight in the end will become fight between Susanoo, Madara's Susanoo is by far superior to Itachi's.

Edo Itachi is the only version that has a chance to beat MS Madara
