Who do you think would win in a one on one fight I would personally chose Itachi because all the things he could and and if Itachi stayed alive he probably could have ended Madara before he got all that extra power t the end of the war.

There is a versus section for this kind of post shug, But Madara would win due to his Massive Susanoo. And had Itachi been alive he wouldve gotten destroyed because he would be blind, but he could still use his susanoo probably...put i still think Madara would be too much for him blind. I dont know how Susanoo will respond to itachi's Amaterasu. But Itachi's reserves are too weak to use his abilities on a ninja like Madara without getting destroyed.

Normally I would be incline to agree, but seal can be overwritten with a spike on chakra or summon a massive amount of chakra. ei Madara summoning Susanoo, and also Madara shown that his soul was strong enough to resist being released

Itachi could just use Izanami one last time to trap Madara pr he could use Tsukuyomi.
