Lmao not only do they outnumber the sound 5, but each and every one of them is Jonin level while 2 fodder Jonin from Konoha almost beat them. Sure, Kimimaro is here, but his presence doesn't balance anything out.

Swordmen win with easy IMO... they are all Elite joinins, while Sound 4 are just high Chunnin maybe low Jounins,but still below than Swordmen... they also outnumber them... ya they will win w/o much difficulty...

Tayuya uses Sound Genjutsu -> traps everyone (including her team).

S5 uses CS1 to break Sound Genjutsu -> proceed to kill the swordsman.

Any notable speed feats the S7 possess? Just basing this off of presented feats, as I think this would be a good match up.

Seven swordsman shits on them.the only problem would be kimimaro but considering they have mangetsu against whom his fighting style is ineffective its curb stomp in faovour of swordsmen

Zabuza is the only one with decent feats that I remember since their entire battle was largely offpanel, and from 20m I'm confident enough that he can stop Tayuya's Sound Genjutsu before it's used, especially with Hidden Mist, and there's no reason using the Curse Mark would break Genjutsu. It doesn't disrupt their chakra flow. It absorbs their chakra and releases Oro's chakra from inside it.

And of course by presented feats they'd seem superior since the 7 swordsman don't have any, but common sense alone tells you who wins this fight, and it's not the sound 4. They had all these abilities, Sound Gen included, yet 2 leaf Jonin tired them out let alone the 7 swordsman.

Jirobo could use a Doton Dome to block the sound and Kimmimaro can release bone forest while in the dome.

Nah, dome isn't blocking her Sound Genjutsu lol.

The swordsmen would win more times then not, hidden mist means the sound five won't be able to really find them and then they get cut down. Kimi is the only one worth much here but he can't take all seven out himself

Portrayal is clearly more important than feats, because that's how Kishimoto actually ranks them as he's the one doing the portraying. The only time portrayal falls below feats is when a statement's validity can be brought into question based on another statement or another character's actions, such as Kisame not fully believing Itachi when he said Jiraiya is too much for the both of them.

Feats vs feats it is barely arguable imo because of Hidden Mist and Zabuza's physical stats. He's far closer to Kakashi than he is anyone in this team besides Kimi and w/ Hidden Mist he was even pressuring that Kakashi. So once the mist goes up they don't really stand a chance of victory. Hidden Mist + 20m of distance means that at least 2 of them bite the dust in the first 30 seconds of the match.

An outside source is used to stop the chakra flow of the affected thus disrupting it. In this case the outside source is simply adding more power.

Didn't Might Dai need to sacrifice himself using the 8th Gate to allow Kakashi and Gai to escape? And that was the previous generation. The most current 7 Swordsmen were stated to be the

Add part 1 Kabuto, and the Swordsmen still destroy them. Zabuza and Mangetsu are likely enough, safely assuming he is more skilled than his younger brother.
