I agree the Sharingans ability to record, analyze and predict movement are unsurpassed.

But I will add that the byakugan does have the ability to predict movement though to a lesser degree.

Also I wonder if the Byakugan had a Sasuke level wielder would any of the Sharingon's genjutsu be effective? Maybe we will get a chance to see.

And you underestimate how much of an advantage insight can give the user in a fight. It's how Uchiha with frail bodies are able to fight chakra monsters like Senju and Raikages.


But the main reason why Hyuga are so dangerous is because they destroy chakra, that means whatever jutsu you throw at a Byakugan user is basically useless unless it's something colossal like on a PS and BM scale.

Neji died because the speed and amount of spikes being cast by the Juubi were too overwhelming to stop (and because of plot device). But it doesn't change the fact it took a Juubi to kill him.
