How can someone awaken Tenseigan ?

Wikia says you must have Otsutusuki blood + byakugan . like how Toneri got the Tenseigan.
But this way , Kaguya must have had the Tenseigan , no ?

Although Kaguya passed down the Byakugan to Hamura who passed down to his descendants, who sealed away their eyes, there is no say on if Kaguya can.

I agree, the byakugan needs hard work to awake it, byakugan tech need hard work to be mastered, it would be logical that tenseigan needs hard work to awake.
That is more seducing than how the sharingans users improve ,they get free divine power ups each time they cry, like spoiled children.

although instead of sharingan, you need byakugan.

pretty sure the yang has to be of hamura's bloodline as well.
so a senju with byakugan wouldn't make it a tenseigan
and an otsutsuki with sharingan wouldn't make it into a rinnegan

the reason as to why they got it was due to being half human and half ootsutski

Hence why the Ootsutski themselves aren't spamming it and also why Toneri needed either Hamura's byakugan or a Hyuga byakugan then his own clans.

Which is odd since who did Hamura marry to make the Ootsutki (MOON) clan? and why are they seperate then the Hyuga clan which is also under the Hamura tree.


My input is likely like how Hagoromo had Indra and Ashura be the body and the eyes, likely Hamura had the body (Oootsuki (Moon clan)) and the eyes (Hyuga).

Even though Toneri's clan had byakugans...

I guess it will likely be ironed out in this anime.

I think her chakra is just Ootsutsuki, and maybe whatever differences her and Hamura's chakra have is why Hamura's chakra is considered as "Hyuga" chakra. So then he'd have Hyuga's chakra, his own unique chakra, combined with what he got from Kaguya.

Seems it works similar to rinnegan awakening. So you need a pure byakugan and Hamura Chakra to awaken.

So if kaguya can't awaken tenseigan it might mean she doesn't have a pure byakugan.
