Even though the art is complete shit, I'll have to go with the Boruto manga because Sarada had a real badass moment kicking ass in chapter 11.

As for the Anime, it is alright but feels like filler.

Maybe. Kishi's Gaiden is already great so the only way the anime version could be better is if they make slight changes to it.
