Ah thanks I see, to be fair I was basically skim-reading the manga by the point of the Kaguya arc. Still not enough of an in-verse explanation for me, so i'm going to assume it's a no to the thread question.

Is a Susanoo having wings even mythology-backed? Wings carrying something spiritual seems forced to take the manga to DBZ levels.

But a scan of the Guy one would be nice. Jumping off air is something is gloriously stupid, I love it.

The Guy thing seems to be inspired by One peace

If I had to guess since tsb show total elemental mastery you should have the feats of all elements since earth element users could fly than I guess so should Naruto. But if that's true he should have other elemental fears like going invisible super strength and speed etc...

Also when did 8 gates allow user to fly?

i'm assuming that it's the ni-alien physiology, because gaining the rsm/jyubi is like gaining the body of an alien named hagoromoo. And the alien race of otsutski are known to inherently have the rsm but i'm sure they call it something else.
