Just because Kishi doesn’t draw it, doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. Kishi leaves pieces like this open for the audience to use their imagination. He didn’t need to draw any of the Canon couples having *** to prove that they had children. So why does he need to draw Sasuke and Sakura kissing to prove that they’re together? He doesn’t. You don’t have to have PDA to prove that you are in love with someone, that can be shown in different ways.

Here are a couple things I noticed:
1. Sakura looks SHOCKED at the question, not “afraid” of it. I think anyone would be caught off guard by such a question. Not to mention, being asked such a thing by your incredibly young daughter.
2. I think that she looks sad BECAUSE she hasn’t seen Sasuke in such a long time, let alone be intimate with him. And I feel like anytime Sarada brings Sasuke up, Sakura can’t help but get emotional due to missing him so much. I don’t think this has anything to do with “not being kissed”, just a genuine reaction to missing someone she loves.
3. Sakura is thinking about something more meaningful to share with her daughter, rather than a kiss. In my opinion, a kiss is something that can be given without any sort of emotional attachment. Of course, young Sarada wouldn’t understand that at the time, so Sakura shares this instead:

Aexpected, Sarada didn’t understand that a “kiss” isn’t the only expression of love that one can give. The reason why I believe that Sakura chose this was due to the meaning it held behind it. First, it was a promise from Sasuke to Sakura that he would see her again, but it also stands as the ultimate expression of love that he could ever give to someone else. And that kind of emotional connection is something that he couldn’t give through a simple kiss. I also thought that Sakura used this as a method to connect Sasuke to Sarada. In the hopes that an older Sarada would be able to understand this, rather than at that time.

You do understand they traveled together for years before Sarada was born and after, they returned to village when Sarada was an infant so nope it wasn't that.



Sasuke is vauge when it comes to his emotions and he tends tp express them via actions so ypu shouldn't expect him to walk around with a Kool-Aid smile. Sasuke is a very serious monotone stoic person and has been that as for 500 chapters which does translate as expressing emotions on a superficial level. Sakura has nothing to do with that; it doesn't start or stop with her.




He didn't rekt her though, she had a few scratches and kunai in her shoulder which is shit when you compare that to things like Sakura being poisoned and implied but stoll managing to heal herself.



Sakura does care about sasukes happiness and has since part 1 but i dp agree Sakura has been selfish for a majority of the manga but she wasn't in gadien, she was in fact humble. Now how is Karin the bigger woman and Sakura the lesser? Sakura's morals matured greatly which she demonstrated by this type of wisdom.

Funniest part is how SS fans were hoping for SS to parallel DT with the forehead kiss what with the whole forehead motif Sakura/Tsunde have and the similar dynamic with Dan/Tsunade/Jiriaya and Sasuke/Sakura/Naruto.

The two were probably together 3 times in the past 12 years. Gaiden, Gokage meeting flashback, and their journey together. Exactly how many times do you think Sakura made advances that got rejected for her to state that Sasuke has rejected her multiple times prior to Gaiden? lol

He doesn't even take her name. Why is Sakura so special and an object of such a deep affection that she's the only one he doesn't even bother to refer to in passing? That is some logic.

Furthermore, every time a moment came to break a "Bond" that held him back, Naruto was that person he turned to. It is shown time and time again: Part I roof-top, Vote I battle, the very first meeting in Shippuden (Kurama confirms Sasuke's intent), second meeting at Kage summit and his conversation with Obito; tearing 'only' Naruto's part of the picture to break away from the past, Vote II etc. etc. Time and time again, after Itachi, it's Naruto and Naruto only that Sasuke cared about. The only 'bond' he believed was even there for it to be broken. Sakura? She's nowhere in that equation. Every time he tried to put her down, she was in the way. He left her to burn in nothing but indifference.

Why did he never choose to kill Sakura if he ever considered her a bond that connected him to the past? His complete indifference in Gaiden and beyond and the fact that he leaves again after Boruto shows how flimsy and madeup your explanations are. That forehead poke was a familiar gesture and an out of character moment that is stained beyond belief by the material that proceeds and precedes it. It is completely nullified.

Being spouses doesn't mean love. You are quite naive to believe that marriage is done for love: it's primarily done for financial security and for heirs. Anthropologically, it's vastly backed by this. Sasuke did it for the latter. If that isn't obvious, then your mind is befogged by your preferences to see absurdities that aren't even canon. Too disillusioned for words.

The ending of Gaiden showed many things like:

> Chapter 10 Flashback proved that Sasuke and Sakura has never kissed, which is why Sakura looks so disappointed once Sarada asked her if she ever kissed him.

> When she comes charging and attacks Shin, Sasuke asks the wife he hasn't seen for more than a decade, "why are you here?" True love!

> Sasuke and Sakura's marriage barely exists. They only had a one night stand and he's been gone for 12 years ever since.

> Sasuke doesn't look anywhere near happy or joyful whenever he's around Sakura. He looked grumpy and depressed

> Showed us how much of a forced and failed pairing SS really is.

> Sakura was dumb enough to heal Shin and he was rekting her until Naruto and the others came.

> Karin is the bigger woman because she actually cares for Sasuke's happiness and isn't selfish like Sakura is. The type of ride or die chick I need on my squad.

> He leaves again afterwards.

Out of character characterization is a real thing, even in high-end literature. Even Milton's last few books are criticized for Satan's poor turn of character. That poke is no different. Why? It isn't followed or preceded by any material that supports it. Sasuke had plenty of options to come and see Sakura when he has the ability to jump dimensions at the cost of a small cooldown period. He didn't. Why? You have no reason other than poor argumentation that doesn't support it.

He was outside Konoha when Sarada found him. Why didn't he come home? He chose not to. Why was he in contact with Naruto all that time and not Sakura? Because he doesn't seem to care. Why did he leave her after the pregnancy and once she caught up with him again, he threw her back into the village with the child and left. She meets up with him again (in Gaiden), and the first words that come out of his mouth when he sees her after more than a decade are, "why are you here?", along with complete lack of any emotions?

When she gets teleported, he looks completely indifferent, but when Naruto is attacked, you see him shouting. Now, you can throw the, "he knows she can take care of herself" in my face, but can she take care of herself better than Naruto, somehow? Yeah, no. Once Boruto ends, he leaves again? And no, he wasn't smiling when he left. Are you looking at that Tumblr edit? Here are the panels:

Where is the smile? I don't see it. He looks stoic and bored. Why doesn't he embrace her even; is she too contagious to stick around? Also, all of that translates into true love? Man, this has to be some kind of fan-fiction as I can make a solid case for Sasuke's complete indifference; stone-cold indifference. And yet, you have jumped all the way to true-love? This is pretty absurd.

Does that look like it justifies Itachi's confession of the most profound kind of love in Japanese language bar none? It doesn't, man. What the heck are you seeing that I am not? Dumping it all on that poke and not seeing his complete indifference is quite something. And why does Sasuke verbalize his love for Itachi and not for Sakura? What's stopping him for saying it without anything convoluted you can create your own version of facts from? Where is your explanation for that? It is well within Sasuke's character to speak his mind in plain and simple words like he told Itachi that, "I loved you." He's blunt, brash and honest. He never tip-toes around the argument. And yet, he doesn't even say that he even likes her? What the hell! But it's true love?

Ask yourself what was that one thing Kishimoto could have used to haphazardly declare this a pairing, when he left Sakura to burn and be vapourzed in Obito's prison without a care for her? That's right, a poke from Itachi, given that 'ai' and the subsequent 'aishiteru' from Itachi presented a new evolution: a forehead bump. Even in that regard, if I entertain this logic for a fleeting moment, she's shown a poor courtesy.

"Our love borned you?" No, it doesn't. He is simply stating that they are together, because of a daughter. Nowhere does it state that he loves her. Why? Because Sasuke could have simply stated so like he told Itachi in plain, direct words: "I love you!" You understand what that means? And some love that he, one, doesn't bother staying in contact, when he does with Naruto through all those years; two, shows indifference when she shows up; three, leaves again the first chance he gets; four, comes back and doesn't go home, spends the night in the forest and then 'probably goes home'; five, leaves again after Boruto and it doesn't look like he ever came back; six, doesn't state that he loves her, when he has stated so verbally for Itachi; seventh, for all your true-love talk, he has seen Sakura twice in a period of twelve to thirteen years etc. etc.

Him stating that it's his fault means what? And yet, he decides to leave again? Haha, all right. This doesn't show likeness even, let alone love, or God forbid, true love. How did you even reach to that conclusion? Itachi verbalized that he loved Sasuke more than anything, together with the forehead bump! He outright states it. He shed tears for Sasuke more than once. Heck, bloody tears even. Sasuke verbalized that he loves Itachi and shed his tears over his loss. So, an action is supported by 'verbalization'. Moving Sakura out of this equation is losing the argument. Why doesn't Sasuke show with action and words that he even likes her? One forehead poke is a poor show from you. It's not an argumentation; it's a missed stab in the dark.
