How strong is Kisame without Samehada?

I know this was addressed years ago, but i want to re ask the question. Without Samehada how strong is Kisame?

We know that he has a huge amount of chakra and that with Samehada hes main fighting style was absorbing chakra. Kisame could also absorb chakra without his sword but how would he fair without his weapon? Who could he beat?

Without It idk he would be lower tier of kage at best (tsuande Mei rasa etc)

Without it obviously strong enough to be considered for the position of Kiri's Seven Ninja Swordsmen.

Arguably they're all insanely strong even without their swords considering we see some of them fight without them.

Kisame also killed and stole Samehada from Fuguki who during his time was a member from the "Strongest Generation" of ninja swordsmen. Samehada only bolsters Kisame's ability and the sword itself is extremely powerful.

TLDR: If you're even being considered as one of the seven ninja swordsmen you're highly skilled. The sword is merely a tool.
