Yeah I noticed that as well but we got to wait for it to be confirmed, but there's theories of mitsuki being a genetic hybrid of toneri so it's possible. And maybe it's a yellow byakugan showing sage Chakras influence

There is NO such thing as Boruto's dojutsu in the manga!! I don't give a s**t to what the anime shows.
Boruto appeared in the first pages of the manga having ONE byakugan in his scared right eye in a kakashi-like style.
So, I don't think it is his original eye

Yeah, I'm aware of that. What I meant is that dojutsu (seeminly Byakugan) is not Boruto's original eye, simply cuz that scar on his eye gives us a hint that he might have undergone an experience which is akin to that of Kakashi when Obito gave him his Sharingan

Mitsuki likely is a Toneri clone, and it's not just his appearance and Sage Mode that hint at this, even the anime is hinting at it. If he is a Toneri clone, him getting Byakugan along with SM can be a strong possibility.

I kinda would disregard it for simple fact I would find it cool and boruto is his sun. And I think even toneris people had byakugans because it's there natural eyes

Boruto's doujutsu is a entirely new doujutsu, not a Byakugan.

I don't disagree, but to what extent the abilities will vary is still unknown. It could be the same case as 3T and MS, having all of Byakugan's abilties and more. Not to mention it could also very easily be a normal Byakugan that has it's appearance chnge due to being exposed to Nue/Momoshiki's Chakra, though I doubt that, it's still a possibility. Not to mention Bolt is shown with two Byakugan eyes along with MS Salad and SM Mitsuki, so him getting Byakugan is still up in the air. That, and the constant attention being brought to his Byakugan blood and the Ootsutsuki.

I get that but either it was healed or even if he got a new eye his eye power would activate over it possibl6 allowing for any eye to be used

Yet the lion-snake monster plot has still been unresolved despite the at least 4 episodes of Hyuga-focus we are soon to get. Thus, this likely means the two plot points are part of one story. Mitsuki is aware of Bolt's eye and ability to see the lion-snake's Chakra, and Mitsuki himself seems to be controlling it. I think we'll definitely get a concrete, or at least more tangible, evidence with those episodes, particularrly episode 10, where they actually start investigating the ghost.
