No , he did so in his previous battles to lure his opponents away from the groups. sasuke's speed essentially forced deidara to play on the defensive before ultimately relying on airborne tactics and yet even then he still would've succumbed quickly had chidori spear blitz didn't have a reach limit.

The only thing worrisome is the larger snake summons in Sasuke's possession. Other than that, Shukaku mode > Sasuke, that or a simple application of Desert Suspension -> Flood the area does the trick.

I thought Taka Sasuke taking on the hawk name meant no more snake summons, but either way I doubt fodder large snakes that have been canonically outmuscled by kid Naruto would be more resilient than Kimimaro's defenses.

SRA Gaara was strong enough to become Kazekage some point within the 2 and a half year time skip, so his physical skillset at SRA wasn't by any means lacking, evident by his fight with Kimimaro. All he needs to do is make a mental reaction, and activate his sand armor that isn't penetrable with a sword lacking Raiton chakra.

Shukaku has piss poor feats Manda > Shukaku or atleast gives sasuke enough time to blitz to the top and chop gaara apart or genjutsu wrecks it.

LOL Gaara could not even switch himself up when fighting Sasuke at CE2 and no he used the clone feint when lee went for the first lotus gaara took a beating by 5G lee with little to no reaction Sasuke's speed >>>>> 5G lee's yes Gaara got better but not to that extent.

Becoming Kazekage means nothing. Kimmi is not even half the speed of Sasuke nor is he that fast and he ran through Gaara's defense like nothing until Shukaku's shield.

Sasuke speed is much above 5G lee's who blitz Gaara silly and with the info being known from CE no reason Gaara puts up all these defenses and uses sand tsunami which he has to wait awhile for because he needs to grind up material in the ground. This fight is the equivalent to this fight
