This. All versions of him all had depth and quality that transformed him into the man he is as of current. they brought a fresh new perspective about the character. No favourites for me but if i were to mayb pick then perhaps hebi and Ems.

What about "sneak into the building, attack by surprise". That seems soooooo more practical than what happened, and so simple too. And sure, it wasn't Sasuke's fault he was caught, Zetsu announced his presence before he could do anything, but ****, he was barely even trying to sneak in, and the fact that he did so without a plan of action shows it. Hell, he could've even taken Karin's advice and attacked Danzo when he was making his way back to Konoha without making a fuss over what happened, but he wasn't thinking straight.

Wtf are you talking about? the bold is EXACTLY what he did. the plan was to sneak in and then identify danzo. they had successfully infiltrated the summit completely undetected, it was mission successful at that point. what is this nonsense about him barely trying to sneak in when he had karin constantly keep a lookout on the chakras of the guards as well as the lookouts

And this talk about MS sasuke not using strategy is complete myth when he had izanagi all figured out and strategically punked the root leader, someone with far more experience than him with knowledge of sharingan and uchiha, through the clever use of genjutsu.

Against Ay, he knew he could not keep up with the latters speed so he covered himself with enton to prevent the latter from striking, instead of fighting him head on. that is strategy. so like i said, it is a myth. I'm torn between adult Sasuke and Part 1 Sasuke. When he's not a boring emo avenger and cares somewhat for his teammates he's actually engaging and you see the character/humanity in the guy.

Gaiden-era is a part of the timeline that we really needed to see more of Sasuke too to make more sense of his rushed 180 ending and prelude to the Sakura/Sarada stuff that was about to come.
