Neji fights each person in the "gauntlet", and is healed after each match.

-No Ninjutsu.
-No Genjutsu.
-No chakra flow.
-Neji gets Gentle Fist, 64 palms. And basic Ninja weapons as those are the only weapons he possesses.
-Every contestant gets access to their weaponry. Said weaponry loses all special abilities though. (Samehada)

according to 3rd DB Neji was on par w/ Hebi Sasuke in terms of speed. Hand speed is FAR more essential in that term. and here where Neji excels. if Sasuke tried Kenjutsu then that would not prevent hand to hand at all, a skilled martial artist can still beat someone armed w/ melee weapons empty-handed. as long you are skilled enough to parry the right way and counter attack you would be fine. and don't forget that Neji uses the gentle fist meaning that the slightest touch from him on any spot is fatal.

As a person who practices martial arts. I've seen people lose to hand to hand when they themselves use weapons. A weapon increases lethal effectiveness at the cost of versatility and mobility. Variables to consider:

Weapon of choice
Fighting Style
Weapon fighting style.
Individual skill level.

Just because someone has a weapon doesn't exactly mean they win. This is even illustrated in Military

As for the List id have to say Neji probably only beats V1 Ay. Why? Because Ay doesn't seem very technical with his attacks and his "Speed" is based off of ninjutsu.

Unless DB3 factors kenjutsu in the stats then Neji isn't parrying sasuke's swordsplay w/o rotation.

Naturally, but being extremely skilled than someone doesn't automatically mean you can beat anyone with a weapon. Bold isn't always true either so you can't claim that as fact in general. B's versatility and mobility go through the roof compared to his fighting style when he uses his blades.

It doesn't, so yeah. Agreed.

I dont see reason why he can´t beat Kakashi and Itachi those 2 skills are below Neji´s in hand to hand combat and they dont really have way to finish him unlike Neji who has juuken.

This isn't hand to hand combat. Lmao. Weapons are allowed.

As for the gauntlet Neji loses to every single person.

No chakra flow? You've literally just unrealistically nerfed Neji from the start, the guy fights with his fingers and palms, he send chakra through them to deal significant damage. Most of his leathal blows require chakra. Hell, the last palm in 64 palm you see a wave s chakra being blown out of the person from behind. He arguably loses to Gai simply because he guy has more battle experience with his Taijutsu and has a more realistic fighting style that does significantly more damage. Neji hasn't got the best durability feats either so he literally stops at Gai.

...I think you got a serious grudge with Hyyuga dude :lmao:

I thought by chakra flow KG means chakra can't be used to enhance weapons because he did say gentle fist is allowed.

Naaaa he didn't say that, he said buffed weapons via chakra are nerfed + No chakra flow, meaning no one in the fights have chakra. The rules are a contradiction, having Juuken style with no chakra flow for anyone is making the fighting style obsolete.

Depends on if Neji gets Hinata's flight feats or not.

Lmao you must not be able to properly because what Icelerate said (and what everybody managed to grasp besides you apparently) is correct. Chakra flow refers to when people enhance their weapons with chakra. If I said Gentle Fist is allowed then obviously Neji can emit chakra because without chakra Gentle Fist isn't Gentle Fist. Same with 64 palms. It isn't 64 palms without chakra. Come on now.

And no, I have no grudge against Neji. You must be a fan since that's the response I'd expect from a fan. This thread is to prove a point.

Thought i edited it to add vice-versa but what you speak of is correct especially when considering the variables I mentioned.

As for killer B comment:

I don't know many people who would fight a guy who could do this with swords. XD

V1 Ei is still superior to him in speed while strengthwise powerfull enough destroy a massive area[ ].His strength was complimented by suigetsu saying if he didn't liquify he would have lost his hands[ ]; made hole in cs2 juugo's chest [ ] and sent him flying to nearby wall [ ][ ]

don't see how neji wouldn't get overwhelmed when A is faster and has reflexes on par with minato

Manga is not very clear as im not sure if it means Raiton makes him on par with Minato OR if he is already on par with Minato and raiton makes him faster. Based on feats im going with Raiton makes him on par with the Minato.

OP clearly states no ninjutsu or Chakra so I took away Raikage's speed

As for Strength yes I do agree that Raikage is much much stronger than Neji but the problem with Raikage is that he is a severely limited and a one dimensional fighter. All his attacks are hugely telegraphed which his raiton armor covered for it.

Eh it clealy states his reaction in base
v1 increases it while he still has v2 [cee does not complete his sentence but we find it out when Ei uses v2 to dodge amaterasu]
OP clearly states no ninjutsu or Chakra so I took away Raikage's speed
Eh not he said v1 Ei thus Ei gets his v1 armour and jutsu he uses with them
same as neji is allowed to use gentle fist and 64 palm that requires chakra or sharingan that requires chakra too

Same is true for neji though. While raikage relies on speed and strength along with raiton armour neji relies on handspeed and jyuuken
Raikage actually uses both ninjutsu;taijutsu alongwith his strength and speed in fight while neji is limited to his jyuuken based taijutsu.

the raikage that fought sasuke was mindlessly attacking him since he thought he has killed/captured his brother.
He was fighting 5 susanoo clones and was caught only after he was distracted [ ]
even in his v1 he was so durable that madara needed to remove it so he could land a fatal hit despite having 5 susanoo clones against him

Well if OP means v1 and all its capabilities then ofcourse Neji loses. Thought there was no chakra no ninjutsu though.

As for the manga scan it actually isn't very clear because...

First he says Raikage's reflexes and reaction speeds are on par with Minato and he's surprised they can keep up
Then he says Raiton increases his reflexes so fast not even Sharingan can keep up.
then he goes on the V2 Cliff hanger

However in regards to the first two statements we only seen Raikage in V1 state soooooooo how is this clarified?

If Raikage fought in base form then V1 then V2 it would make sense but he only fought in V1 and V2

V1 is ninjutsu
he just means no additional ninjutsu

yeah you are right but it still means V1 A is at least minato's level in reflex thus far superior to neji
