Only thing wrong with shippuden imo was the nerfs and the Sasuke chasing Naruto was doing. The story wasn't bad got some good in depth back stories.

Only thing wrong with shippuden imo was the nerfs and the Sasuke chasing Naruto was doing. The story wasn't bad got some good in depth back stories.

Imo, Part 2 had more problems than just Naruto and Sasuke's bond. Lack of developing the Jinchuriki, other nations, the war being shallow and very much unlike what a real war would be like, Team 7 bonds being forced as hell, Obito's character as a whole was iffy, Naruto almost losing relevancy as the main character, most K11 including Sakura being offed, etc. Well, alot of these issues also apply to part 1 too.

Imo, Part 2 had more problems than just Naruto and Sasuke's bond. Lack of developing the Jinchuriki, other nations, the war being shallow and very much unlike what a real war would be like, Team 7 bonds being forced as hell, Obito's character as a whole was iffy, Naruto almost losing relevancy as the main character, most K11 including Sakura being offed, etc. Well, alot of these issues also apply to part 1 too.

Agreed, with Kishi rushing to end it at 700 he should have taken the OP road and actually introduced the other nations kage's and jins(tho some where dead from Akatsuki) all we got was Gaara Bee and Naruto's backstory. Wish we got Hans and Roshi's backstory.

Agreed on Obito also he was basically Naruto if he was an Uchiha that was sprung from a girl.

War overall was mediocre because everyone was was getting beat up by Zetsu's and people from part 1 that died. Should've just expanded Akatsuki imo. With giant snakes and other summonings and the bijuu's to make it more entertaining and have suspense.

Should've developed people with better missions like the land of waves arc or at least a few chapter's of them training to master certain abilities like Jiraiya and Naruto.

Agreed many people should have died. All 5 kage should've died. Shikamaru should have from the shinju tree Gai from his gates i think it was a few more. Obito should have stayed a villian and not turn good. Instead of trying to confirm Naruto's resolve being the same as his when he was younger.

kishimoto's editors had a lot to do with the rushiness of the naruto series as a whole...for example kishimoto didn't want to go straight into the chunin exams at all...he wanted to do more missions...during the exams he wanted shikamaru to be the winner but was forced to introduce the "destroy konoha" stuff to interrupt it in-story...no wonder tite kubo (writer of bleach) shits on shonen jump editors all the time
