Boruto Episode 6 "The Final Lesson" Discussion

Episode was kind of boring TBH. I guess because Shikadai/Boruto are at the academy level, that it felt kind of long paced in a bad way. Although once again Mitsuki is showing how much stronger he is. But I do agree that Shino probably would of fodderized them like Naruto said if he was actually serious.

In that regard, the episode wasn't that special. Even the resolution with Shino kind of felt meh... Plus the episode after that looks even more 'filler-ish' than the boys v. girls episode. My gripe here is that Shino might get respected more but only by Boruto, Shikadai, and Mitsuki have since they have seen his other sides. The worst thing about the episode in my opinion is that its really drawn to you just how different SP's writing is compared to the actual Manga (or Movie). Some of these relationships kind of feel forced, especially the way Mitsuki keeps trying to find his 'sun'.

The episode wasn't that special, but it wasn't terrible. I just think I expected more. Solid 5/10

Next week's episode for sure looks like a 2-3/10, just due to focusing on Cho-Cho's weight and that boy stalking the girls.

It wasn't that shino wasn't serious but since he was in a berserk mode he couldn't be as lethal as he usually could be because he wasn't thinking properly

Obviously because the episode is about Chocho it's filler to you -_- . She's a character in boruto and she deserves spotlight not necessarily filler or fodder episode . If it was about Boruto canon if it was about any character besides boruto filler . Fk logic

Shino's good feats

Bad feats:

>Insects slow AF, couldn't catch academy-tier kids.
>Vulnerable to water

Overall, very good episode for Shino. He got more development here than ever before.

I'm glad we got to see more of Mitsuki's abilities and Shino's. it's cool that he can use summoning jutsu

I had a feeling that Shino was using the bugs like Gaara his sand.

Next episode doesn't look promising to me, and the name - it will only be good enough for laughs.

Seeing Mitsuki is somewhat like seeing more of Orochimaru as a child right?
Thats kinda cool.

Also interesting to see more Shino development.

Glad Shino got development in this episode. Very overlooked character(much like Kiba).

Next episode, despite it seeming that Shino starts investigating this strange presence, seems stupid to me.

I mean Cho-Cho with her "He's not my type" where I'm wishing I was there to say to her "You're right. He's not a fat-ass weirdo like you."
