When you look at it, sealing techs are basically enchantments which makes Uzumaki the ones who would have the most OP enchanted weapons and armor.



In addition to that, they had ability to tame the strongest beings roaming the globe. Think of Lord of Rings and what it would mean to be the only one with the potential to use this level of power

Uzumaki weren't attacked because they were weak, they were attacked because they posed the biggest threat amongst all of Kaguya's descendants.

~ No one messed with the Uzumaki Clan
~ The Uzumaki Clan was the own Clan that made it's own Village.

Konohagakure was built on Senju/Uchiha + Everyone else in the neighboring areas. So did the other Villages follow in suit, however, the Uzumaki Clan itself, made its own Village single handily.

That shows their strength.
