Question About Nagato When He Attacked Konoha

I was having a discussion with someone and they said that if Kakashi had succeeded in taking down the Deva Path that Nagato could have still destroyed Konoha in one shot, like he did with the Deva Path. His reason is Nagato used the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu to revive everyone, which means he could have destroyed Konoha from where he was at. I wanted to double check with you guys here, because I told him it was a stretch to think this would happen.

Before Pain flew into the air and flat lined it. Kakashi takes down Deva path. He was saying Nagato could use shinra tensei remotely, like he used Rinne Rebirth from far away. I can't find anything that proves his claim.

deva path works based off of pulling/pushing from its epicenter.

If Nagato could use something near konoha as an epicenter then yes it would work.

Maybe create a CT orb but use it to push away instead of suck in

Hmm. Didn't think of that. I just figured Nagato would need the Deva path in order to destroy the village. So you're saying that even from a remote distance, if he found something to be the epicenter that he could still destroy the village? Nice!

you might have changed my opinion. I didn't give him any chance to do it.

That's not possible, but he could have just brought Deva's body back to life with Naraka path and done it like 5 minutes later.

If that were feasible mid-battle, Pain wouldn't have to protect Naraka path specifically as he did against Naruto, as he could make any path Naraka path as needed.

I'm sure it's possible, but not in the middle of battle. It likely takes some time.

Tendo was the only path that was effective towards naruto. For naraka path to restore any of the paths would require a remnant of their damage remains. Ningendo was shredded to pieces with no rods left and animal path was still in the toads mouth (i think) the only path he would be able to bring back is asura and preta realm (which he did).

So you could be right about time or it could be the chakra it takes was too much because nagato was already out.
