Orochimaru himself is probably the peak of what science and medical ninjutsu can do for the human body.

The man is easily the smartest man in the NA in his field. He can do anything Sakura can and then some.

Well... She did research on Hashirama's cells and how they were connected to the Zutsu(s) + their transform technique. It just has to be relevant to the plot..

Read the manga? Because of her research she was able to instantly decipher Zetsu's transformation technique based on the knowledge she garner from her research and it further more went into the analyzation of Hashirama's cells while performing autopsy on Zetsu.
