Boruto is not Naruto

While i understand people are upset with the new Boruto series let us all be reminded of something.

While the characters from the Naruto series are still around people forget that this is a "NEW SERIES" its not part 3 or a continuation from Naruto.

From what i've observed the Boruto series is supposed to be new as if Naruto series did not exist except for what certain abilities and circumstances that stem from the Naruto series (Rinnegan, kurama)

When we accept Boruto as a seperate series and not a continuation that is when we will tolerate the show much more.

In short think of Dragonball GT fans lol

It would be fine if only "new" fans got into Boruto but the problem is for us long time fan already seen the whole concept of P1 in which the characterization of K11 and the story arc been washed up. I don't think anyone is willingly to pretend and forget what happened in Naruto.

OT: well it would be better if it was more like a continuation than a sperate series. I wish if we can see the K11 ad the old Gen more in action because they didn't get their rightful screen time in the old series. so it would be cool if we could see them more in this series

Because the manga is just re-creating Naruto. You already got the spoilers for Konohamaru 2.0

And also because you have the older fandom who can't seem to not accept that Boruto isn't Naruto. They're like the 90's kid always talking how much better the 90s were. This generation could end world hunger and they still wouldn't care.

I mean he has some Naruto traits in him but overall I don't think he is the reincarnation of the character, he doesn't want to be him either, he has Sasuke as his mentor.

Naruto never cheats this itself makes Boruto way different . Boruto has parents . Naruto doesn't . Boruto has frieinds. Naruto doesn't . Boruto has an eye power . Naruto doesn't . Boruto uses a sword to fight . Naruto doesn't . Etc

I think it's totally stupid when it comes to people complaining. "I hate this, but I'm still going to read/watch it" No, just stop. if you actually hate it and see no hope in the new series, just say your piece about it and then stop reading/watching it. "Boruto is just Naruto 2.0" No. He really isn't. Aside from having the similar physical traits, the mischievous/aloof side to his personality, and sharing a base move-set similar to his father.. He's nothing like Naruto. All of the things I listed are due to DNA and upbringing. Hardly anyone acknowledges this and just writes Boruto off as a copy and paste character. By that logic, all of the other characters in the series that have the original cast as parents.. are also copy and paste. But it's clear they aren't either. "It's just fanservice" For who? By that logic every single fan here and around the world must have wanted this to happen. That's what fanservice is in my eyes at least. Doing what your fans want. Which means, this whole series is perfectly fine. It's just a few people that can't accept it as a new series that aren't fine.

lol I'm so shook. I've seen so many threads about how Boruto sucks. I apologize for the thread hijack into a rant about how much I loath complainers. But gdi. It's the dumbest shit. The last and final thing I'll say is.. if you don't like what you're reading/watching, go and create your ideal series. I'll be eager to see how well some of you would do yourselves.
