You have to choose one. And the mentor who's gonna train you to death is either Lucci or Rayleigh. You wanna achieve Shanks' level of Haki or go over 9,000 Doriki?

Rokushiki:
Geppo, Tekkai, Shigan, Rankyaku, Soru, Kami-e, Rokuogan
Haki:
Kenbunshoku Haki, Busoshoku Haki, Haoshoku Haki

..Poll added...

I would pick Rokushiki.

It is more versatile and with Tekkai and kami-e you basically have a light version of CoA and CoO.

Also Lucci was 4000 doroki, so if you have 9000 I feel like you're already pretty much up their with the high tiers. Combined with techniques that enhance strength and speed. That is pretty awesome.

Can we say the higher the Tekkai, the closer and closer to CoA until there is no difference between them? In terms of defense propose of course.

It would depend on the user. But if it's a person using Tekkai and a person using Haki and they're the same strength, I'm willing to bet Haki would be stronger. My gut says that if your Tekkai is higher than someone's Haki, you'd have to be stronger. Or it might rely on the Tekkai user's physical strength.

Hm... So apparently, in terms of defense, if a man's CoA is for example 100, it would take 200 or 300 for Tekkai to be equal to it.

Possibly. There's no evidence for it, but that's what I think it'd be.

Also tekkai is the hardening of the muscles, which makes it for most users impossible the move. Lucci was an exception. You can't apply it on other things to coat your sword in tekkai and you can't hit DF users. So there are some downsides to tekkai in comparisson to haki. But the 5 other forms make up for that in my book.

It was Jabra actually that could move with Tekkai. He had a fighting style based around it. But yeah, the other Rokushiki techniques are awesome as hell

Haki since they can deal with intangible forces. Rokushiki can't get you that far

Definitely haki for me, we've seen the extent and limitations of Rokushiki, it's pretty strong and all, but considering what we've seen so far from haki users, people at the epitome of haki should be >>> Rokushiki users. Especially the hyped up CoA.

Rokushiki's still cool tho, especially Geppou.

Haki, Logia's are unbeatable if u dont have haki (kairoseki wont help much because ull have to grab that person and have a good finishing power, for example even with high tier haki Marco and Vista couldn't (permanently) damage Akainu with that 2-man attack)

I'm torn. Rokushiki is incredibly versatile, with Geppou and Soru allowing for almost unrivaled mobility, and Rankyaku still being one of my favorite combat styles even as we approach Chapter 900. Haki, on the other hand, has Kenbunshoku, which I think is the most useful type of Haki. The ability to anticipate your opponent's next move, and to be completetly aware of what's going on around you is really, really useful.

I'd say it depends on where I'm at. In the New Wrold, I'm gonna have to go with Haki, just because EVERYONE has it over their, so without it, you don't stand much of a chance. It would be like picking a fight with the entire U.S. Navy when you don't even have a boat, only two floaties for your arms. The point I'm trying to make is that you can't win.

In Paradise, though, Rokushiki all the way. Even though Haki would still probably be the better choice, and I'd say Rayleigh would teach you more than you could learn from Lucci, Rokushiki would be more fair, and subsequently more fun. If Luffy had Rayleigh-level Haki in pre-Time Skip, it would just be overkill, and it would make the story less interesting at that.

You'd pick rokuishi? Now what if you're fighting a logia user, you'll never win
