Convince me to watch the Boruto anime

I haven't watched a single episode (aside from the movie).

Why should I watch this show and get caught up?

I enjoyed Part 1 and early-mid Part 2. As soon as TBBs were introduced is basically when the series fell off for me in Naruto.

I just watched the 4 episodes today, I decided to give it a shot for the old times sake
All I can say is that it does not have the same feel that the original series had in the academy, but it's not that bad, I am eager to see how it goes after they finish the academy and the team chemistry and Sasuke training Boruto starts going

I liked the first episode, the music looks like part 1 Naruto, the animation was good, but I don' t like Boruto as much as I liked the beginning of Naruto part 1.The first episode of Naruto was so good that it will be hardly matched, Zabuza arc was wonderfull.Remember those musics?

I know so much about the world they live in, the characters, their powers...I' m not interested as much as when I was watching Naruto.Unfortunetly it seems to be a remake of Naruto part 1 with Boruto as the main character...Not interesting, but still better than the Boruto manga.

It's not complete garbage, but it isn't a ninja series. It's a school drama :lol

For that reason I feel like it's better to avoid the shit out of it until it gets 'interesting'

OT: well keep in mind this whole 1st arc is entirely filler and has no standing on the canon stuff yet. You know how fillers go so if you decide you don't want to watch and pick it up later when the canon material begins I completely understand.

It's hard to give you a good review until we get into the core stuff.

boruto personality is fresh. Like really fresh. He's not annoying like naruto, but he still got something to prove.
