Yesterday i was thinking about time and how we define it.

There's no such thing.

Example: in space there is no such thing as time. in theory, time is something we humans made up to keep track of something. like the calendar of the year, because if we didnt had that we would not have direction.

in space there is no such time as time, only existence.. time for us is dependent on the moon and stars to tell when is day or when its night, and the funny thing is its on 24 hour loop. so basically the same we created is what have us in a loop of our own existence.

if we didnt have time we will not keep track of anything, we will just be. (as i mention how it is in space), we will just exist.

So there's no such thing as going back into time.

whenever i hear someone in movies claim that they will go back into time to change something that will happen. i just laugh lol because there's no such thing.

yeahhh going back in time makes no sense as if life is being recorded on a giant film in outer space r

Time does exist. Time exists in growth. Time exists in change. Time exists in aging. Time exists in entropy. What's man-made is how we measure time. But time itself is very much real.

Saying time doesn't exist in space is very much wrong. We see time in space when particles and dust and gases coalesce into planets. We see time with planets getting further, or closer, to their suns and to each other. We see time with stars dying and becoming black holes.

Time exists. You're just disputing the Word and it's definition. There is no such thing as time or space but in fact it is called spacetime.

It's a law of physics, you should look it up

i dont think any of these you mention has anything to do with time. there's things out of this world that is far beyond our imagination.

Things in space don't run on time. planets drifting further or closer has nothing to do with time.. as we know it the distance between the sun and earth is the same distance as it was when life was created on earth itself.. things that scientist think its "new" in space probably happened before life on earth ever happen.. but we use time to measure when the next eclipse will be because we "humans" record everything thats happening and we made "time" to know when things will happen.

same as we getting old.. we know after a hundred years we will be old and we use "time" to know how long is actually a hundred years. but its just something we created.

if we humans think outside our nature, only then we will find the truth. or maybe we will not because we can never know what the actually truth is.. For example, we believe everything has a beginning and an end what if we only believe that because thats the only thing we can see or have knowledge about?..but this is a topic for another day

All i have to say.. we humans think simple and we only cling onto something we have experience with. but there's many things we dont know about. thats why we always think something we never seen or hear of is new when it actually isn't..

Yep, I'v had similar thoughts OP.
And many theories, belief systems, sources exist who ponder similar thoughts.

The indicator of time, is change. So what happens, when an object changes it's position to, it's atoms?
What if in an isolated system, that has two objects, we observe their position at first x, y and then again x co-ordinate?( )
How do we know past from future?

An interesting proposal is, time is a result of shifting through parallel realities where each is slightly different then previous one creating the movement/time illusion, the rate at which the shift occurs remains -but different realities create illusion of fast/slow.
Everything is already existing in the now, like a film strip that has both ending and beginning at the same time.

What is the size, shape, movement, form, nature of consciousness anyway? You can try with a (moronic)argument that all is chemicals, but then you trust chemicals to tell you they're chemicals? Self-aware chemicals? When have Humans observed Human-like sentience in chemicals? Why can there not be -in all the things a mind imagines - consciousnesses being?
Point being, set your mind free, everything coming in it's way is not worth it.

The mere fact we could subdue it means it exists.

It makes no sense for real but we humans like to think simple and that what we see is what is tru

Everything in the physical universe exist in cycles of birth, life and death. We measure these cycles in what we define as time and time by its very definition does exist in the the physical universe.

The concept of time or what we define as time exist, which is basically the progression of existence. If existence did not progress, evolution would not be possible and the creation of the earth and our solar system would not be possible.

You're talking about how we track time, not time itself.

I keep imagining people getting high and coming up with threads like these.

I heard something about how space effects time like if there is more density time moves faster or slower or something.

You foolish monkey, dont insult our boat.

And so information is flexible and can travel to any direction. As longs as it can mantain...it's....direction.

Just cus we percieve or don't percieve time doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The laws pf physics are there whether we like it or not and they indicate time is real.
