She looks like a dude.
Yeah, feminism effect
Feminism is the movement to empower and advocate for all women, except the women who disagree with my current beliefs.
The theory is nice. To put into practice it's harder than it looks. That's why i do not usually agree with feminism.

OT, Emma could forget that she said years ago or/and change oppinion, why her words are so important ?

“Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. It’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality. I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it. It’s very confusing.” - Emma Watson

Back in 2013, Emma Watson commented on Beyonce.

"Beyoncé using her sexuality as empowerment isn't feminism!" - Emma Watson

So what the hell is Feminism? I thought it is about the freedom to make any choices you want!

Right now, it starting to look like an excuse to justify anything you wanna do!

what is feminism? modern feminism strives for female superiority in an all ready equal society, in other words cancer

This thread is an L. Turns out in the full interview, she actually says that what Beyonce is doing is something she's never seen someone do before, and it was interesting to her to see someone take feminism and control to a level like she did, and was actually complimenting her.

NEWS JUST IN: Men and woman who aim for equality of the sexes not allowed to acknowledge sexuality or have a *** life!

A feminist argument would be: Breasts are for children & sexualised by The Male Gaze.
My argument (a feminist): It doesn't even matter. Use your head and represent your gender maturely.

Emma Watson isn't a great example of her cause. Smart young woman but boy does she have to learn subtlety. Second she starts telling me what it's like to be a man I disconnect with her, she knows nothing about walking in a man's shoes as we do theirs. Equally pressing gender-specific issues on both sides and all sensible feminists understand they both need attention. Feminists are male and female and so both need voice within it.

The amount of 'meninists' or people ready to dismiss feminism without intelligent debate are counter-productive to relevant male issues. Join the discussion rather than labelling a historical movement as something as short-sighted and ignorant as 'SJWs'. Equality is equality, NB will always be NB.

If only mens rights issues could get respectful look-in too. But when your only two factions are pathetic 'Meninists' and ignorant '**** SJWs' guys who don't even want to acknowledge the subject or help...

How do you expect things to get better? At least actual feminists are interested in equality. Women aren't men. Men have to stand up for their rights, respectfully and maturely.

What would you say are men's rights issues happening rn? Asking non-rhetorically, what right now is threatening the rights of men in favor of a matriarchy?

Extreme majority of suicide rates.

Divorce settlement laws.

Workplace deaths.

Examples of Toxic masculinity.

Sexist discrimination in criminal courts.

Acknowledge the hundreds of thousands of male domestic abuse victims ignored by stuff like VAWA. Fix that act. And that's just off the top of my head, you might not agree with them but they deserve an audience and a debate like any other. It's closeted taught male attitudes that prevent these voices being heard.

And by shutting down all conversation on the matter with something immature like 'fuck SJWS!!!' or 'Triggered!', we stop these issues from getting spoken about.

How is this an infringement of men's rights as opposed to a social happenstance? A threat to men's rights implies that it has an institutional basis.

Divorce settlement laws.

I don't know enough about this to comment either way, so let's chalk this to a fair enough.
Workplace deaths.

Like I asked before, is this an institutional basis? One of the reasons for the perceived, but severely misinterpreted, wage gap is that men happen to work more, and they tend to work more dangerous jobs which would probably tend to pay more, a fair compensation for higher danger.

Also, are these jobs exclusive to men? Are women unable to perform these jobs that cause a higher rate of workplace death? Are men unable to choose alternatives to jobs that correlate to higher mortality?

Examples of Toxic masculinity.

This is not a threat to men's rights in the favor of a matriarchy. Toxic masculinity poisons both ways, and is destructive for people of both sexes and all kinds of creeds.
Sexist discrimination in criminal courts.
This is legitimate.

The male sexual assault thing is also a valid point, but I don't believe that's a threat to men's rights in the sense of threats to women's rights that spurred feminism in the first place. One can argue that sexual assault injustice is a multi-faceted phenomenon, and that the injustices men face and injustices women face are branches from the same toxic concept.

And by shutting down all conversation on the matter with something immature like 'fuck SJWS!!!' or 'Triggered!', we stop these issues from getting spoken about.
Agreed.

It's not an injustice, it's just a cultural attitude that's got to change. Men won't speak up about this because of standards pressured onto them from birth. Same for workplace, my point was not that one team is better than the other but that sexism hurts both sides and it benefits all to destroy these outdated notions no matter what gender you are.

This is not a threat to men's rights in the favor of a matriarchy. Toxic masculinity poisons both ways, and is destructive for people of both sexes and all kinds of creeds.

I don't disagree at all. Let's fix it. It is a male issue that hurts many.

This is legitimate. [/QUOTE]

Not really any more than the others... Those stereotypes only exist because of sexist views from the past, all gender issues are linked. You can't talk about one without the other IMO.

It's 3am here and thanks for being someone who actually engages in grown-up discussion on NB, genuinely shocked haha

Lol 3rd wave feminist is a joke and became the very thing they despised. @beyonce part. "Sexualized is not apart of feminism". :lmao: proof this rich b!tch has no clue wtf she's talking about and only doing it for publicity because sexuality is infact feminist agenda that sole purpose as an symbol free themselves from suppression that began in the 80s. Just because one side of feminist don't tolerate it doesn't change the fact it's still feminist.

This post is an L. In the full interview, which provides much more context, she says she always thought of it as "sexualized is not a part of feminism." And while she initially felt conflicted about what Beyonce was doing because she saw it as "for a man," her mindset shifted to being more interested and respectful of it because it was apparent that Beyonce was controlling her sexuality, and saw that as a new "level" of feminism she hadn't seen before.

L from deathnote? :elmo: i don't deserve such praise.

I obviously only read by the context of this thread so no it's not a lost. "New lvl of feminism" lmfao not even close, it's old asf. Should've known that before being a public speaker. Side note: yeah, seem alot of people got caught up by out of context statement so my fault nonetheless.

What is Feminism, if you ask that you will get different replies with everyone hitting some points saying what 'they' see it like, and like most issues when it happens they're dealing with effects and not cause.

Today's feminists have no right to call themselves that. They are doing completely nothing to make women's situation better in countries where their life is worth less than that of an animal. What's funnier, some of them are bashing men for all the evil in the world (or just for their own personal failures in life) at the same time acting like there is nothing wrong with how the Third World works. They are ruining the good name of true feminists, the women who back in 20th century fought against *** discrimination and won (most of) their rights. Nowadays, the only thing they are good at are making their hair shorter and yelling meaningless slogans.
