How come Boruto can only use 4 shadow clones while Naruto can do 1,000 and over?

Naruto is a Uzumaki while Boruto is a Uzumaki and Hyuga, how come Naruto even as a genin can do 1,000 shadow clones while Boruto max is 4?

Is it because Naruto is Kurama Jin who Bijuu chakra mixes with Naruto, while Boruto is only using his natural born chakra only and no other source?

kyuubi doesnt boost his chakra when naruto isnt using it but he boosts his stamina regardless naruto should hsve a lot of stamina cos hes half uzumaki without kurama naaruto can still create a lot of clones but not as much plus he could use sage mode to boost his chakra too

In the databook is stated that the reason why naruto learned the shadow clones was thanks to his own chakra pool.

And in the forest of death right after orochimaru placed a seal on naruto that would prevent him from using kurama's chakra

he was still able to fight with his clones+tranformation jutsu for hours and even had kabuto saying he had an immense chakra and he would become a monster once he masters it.

So am not realy sure whats the problem with boruto since he should have 2 times bigger chakra poll then naruto because of his uzumaki+hyuga genes.

If im not mistaken I thought Kakashi used a normal Clone technique to bluff them but called it Kage Bunshin. Clone Technique requires little chakra and its just an image with no aiblity to attack. Hence the "Kakashi version"

Its not just about how much chakra its chakra control as well. Naruto's chakra control was trash back then so its hard to say how much was the kyuubi outside of the 1000 kage bunshin which was obviously kyuubis. Boruto being a Hyuga should naturally have better chakra control than naruto so its no surprise he can make 4 clones especially having Naruto's genes
