Kabuto literally made him an entirely new person and far more powerful.

Madara didn't have to earn or work for the powers he simply was resurrected beefed up.

The real solo king is Nardo, with his OP chakra reserves, OP attacking power, OP overwhelming clones, OP fighting speed, OP healing factors, and ability to break genjutsu. Taking into account the borrowed powers argument, the Solo kings are Sage Hashi and Gated Gai who can solo Kage level characters without borrowing other people's powers and turning themselves into freaks.
