Aren't Shinigami's basically intangible against any humans outside their realm? I mean, it was stated at the beginning of the series that they're imperceptible to anyone who hasn't died or isn't a Shinigami?

It could be argued that Naruto could somehow sense them because of his enhanced sensing abilities, but then that's a different concept in juxtaposition to the type of sensing a person would require to detect a Shinigami, as Chad could only detect hollows or Shinigami on account of his being dispensed with Shinigami powers.

Nonetheless, there are many intricate factors that would play into the fight should either of aforementioned characters be matched against.

Which makes me want to asses them this way.

Shinigami > ninja > pirate > whatever the f Natsu is

Naruto stomps lol naruto can sense limbo clones in a different dimension he can sense ichigo also ichigo cant touch tsb and if narutos chakra is his reiatsu that makes far more worse on ichigo.
