Who Did Kishi Nerf The Hardest?

Have you noticed that nearly all the antagonists in the series were nerfed and or handicapped in order to grant a protagonist a victory?

Orochimaru: Handicapped by Hiruzen so he couldn't weave signs or use his arms.


Kimimaro: Mystery illness that neither Orochimaru or Kabuto could figure out. Kimi conveniently dies before he skewers Gaara and Lee.


Sasori: Admits he could've dodged Chiyo's mother and father puppets but elected not to because he was bored of fighting her and Sakura.


Deidara: Rants and raves about how killing Itachi was his goal. Fights Hebi Sasuke to a draw, Obito is still in the area and could've assisted him, but Deidara decides to kamikaze himself, for no reason.


Kakuzu: States he won't fall for the Shadow Clone + Rasenshuriken feint, but then is killed by a Shadow Clone + Rasenshuriken feint. JFC.


Itachi: Mystery illness. Kishi handicaps Itachi with blindness (fair) and then doubles down with a mystery illness that Obito had to exposit to Sasuke after Itachi was dead. Way to cheapen Sasuke's "victory".


Pein: Same as Kakuzu. Deva Path was aware of Naruto's stategy to use Rasengan + Shadow Clone to win the fight, and Pein ends up falling for the one track jutsu Naruto intended to use. SMH


Danzo: Pisses away multiple eyes on Izanagi when Sasuke starts to rush him. Doesn't use Bushin, Kage Bushin, or substitution jutsu to avoid even some of the non-Susanno attacks (like the shuriken's Sasuke hit him with). Sasuke still narrowly won, but Sasuke pissed away his eyesight and fought dumb in this fight as well.


Konan: Planned a strategy to own Obito's ass, gets killed at 11th hour reveal that Obito has Izanagi. 5 minute invulnerability stretched to 6 minutes on an asspull.


Kabuto: Izanami = Beat Kabuto Jutsu. The history and backstory of Izanami is so baffling to me, that no Uchiha would EVER use Izanami. Plus the history Itachi retorts about Izanami retcons what we heard about Izanagi from Danzo and Obito. Obito's whose knowledge about the jutsu comes from Madara. SMH


Obito: Becomes the Juubi host, can't use Kamui. Madara becomes Juubi host and uses Kamui when he steals Obito's eye from Kakashi. How? Why? Because Kishi said so is why.


Madara: Black Zetsu backstab. Nuff said.


Kaguya: Double Mangekyou Sharingan asspull to make Kakashi useful for the final fight. Waste of time.


Sasuke: Sasuke has never used Genjutsu against Naruto in any of their fights. Sasuke used Genjutsu against Sai, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Jugo, Deidara, Itachi, Bee, attempted on Ay but hit Cee, Danzo, White Zetsus, the Bijuus but never against Naruto. An essential part of his arsenal and the admitted weakest area of Naruto's ninjutsus skills. Kishi, Kishi, Kishi...


Shin Sr: Has a body covered with Sharingan, demonstrated that he could see behind with Sharingan on the back of his head, is made of Hashi cells, and never uses Izanagi to negate damage done to himself and extend the fight once. Instead, he kidnaps Sakura so SHE can heal him? Why? Kishi half-assing was on such display in Gaiden it's not even funny.



The few antagonist that got their asses beat fair and square.

Zabuza, Haku, Sound 4, Hidan, Kisame, Toneri, Momoshiki.

Anyone who doesn't say sasuke should be slapped. It doesn't get much worst than him. Amaterasu became a joke when sasuke got it. Genjutsu only used to serve the plot, susanoo ignored against B, susanoo v2 conveniently ignored against raikage until after a pep talk with gaara, the irony that sasuke could easily camp inside susanoo to prep kirin or on the hawk but never does so, has rinnegan but only use CT and chakra absorption but never uses BT or ninjutsu absorption also itachi removing curse seal/orochi meaning bye bye accelerated healing and oral rebirth (which would've been much stronger once he got six path chakra from hago). Etc etc

Kishimoto nerfed Ten Tails Obito the most. I found it bs how he , the original wielder of Kamui, couldnt use Kamui as a Ten Tails, but Madara, some one who has never even used Kamui and has the Ten tails as well , could use it perfectly ? Gtfo

If Ten Tails Obito was able to use Kamui then he would most deff been the strongest in the NV

- Sasuke vs Deidara wasn't fought to a draw. Sasuke held back because he waned to question him about Itachi whereas Deidara was going for the kill. He also made sure to conserve enough chakra so he could summon Manda if needed. And it's in character for Deidara to get pissed over Sasuke's/Itachi's superiority. He hated them for their Sharingan.

- Kakuzu underestimated his opponent & was tricked. Nothing wrong with that. Naruto using his brain and outsmarting his opponent is a good thing.

- Tobi stated that Sasuke continously used Susano'o to force Danzo to keep Izanagi active. As that was the only way to counter such speed & power over an extended period of time.

Clones would be a waste of Chakra, and you clearly don't know what the substitution technique does. The user moves so quick that they replace themselves with something before their opponent even notices, which fools them. Susano'o arrows were so quick that Danzo couldn't even weave signs, much less evade.

Pretty much everyone of Naruto's opponents were nerfed so he had a fighting chance against them. Examples:

Neji- Couldn't get up from teh first hit Naruto landed on him despite being able to stand up after being impaled with an arrow from about 50M just a few chapters later.

Gaara- Sasuke had to push Gaara into his beast form for Naruto to stand a chance vs Gaara. Naruto didn't have teh speed or piercing power to bypass teh sand/sand armor. Sasuke had to do it for him. In Naruto's part of teh battle vs Gaara, he just had to outlast him. Teh battle was tailored to suit Naruto's strengths.

VOTE 2 Sasuke- Sasuke conveniently can't use two rinnegan techs at teh same time despite being able to use chibaku tensei/rinnegan genjutsu on a completely different level to other rinnegan users.
