Since the first two episodes were about Boruto, and seemingly the next four are not, I think it's fair to give an analysis on the introduction of Boruto Uzumaki's character. Since this was meant to separate him and establish his person, I think they did a pretty good job.

I mean just from the opening sequence of Episode 1, with Boruto and Shikidai running around the Village, you could sort of see that Boruto's movements were more experienced than Naruto at the start of the academy. This is only seen to be proven true when Boruto got the second best time during the field examination, only being topped by someone who was held back a few times.

In terms of personality - Boruto is seen not really caring about wanting to become a shinobi, but his parents, expect him to join the academy like everyone else. Unlike his father who strived to show everyone around him that he was worth something, that he was important, and that he was strong. Boruto doesn't care about needing to prove himself to those who ridicule him, as seen in Episode 2 when those children were calling Boruto out for being the Hokage's son. To me, this is how they 'define' Boruto as cool. Because he does not care what anyone says about him, because he knows who he is.

To me that was refreshing. I think Boruto carried the first two episodes well, and I'm excited for the Metal Lee/Shikidai, Sarada/Cho-Cho, and the Mitsuki episodes!

Did anybody else catch the Sasuke reference where Boruto did the exact same combo Sasuke did on Kakashi at the beginning of part 1? :bdpf:

3rd is metal
4th will introduce the 3 new female ninjas
Then we will see the new teams form

I just hate the fact that they're starting all over. We've already seen what happens twice. They should've started after the Momo fight, but we're probably going to have to wait and see that sh*t again.

Kingdom is one of the best manga series out there, right now. It's EPIC! And SDS is Seven Deadly Sins. Season 2 of the anime is coming out and I cannot wait!

There's only 4 more episodes of the academy arc left so its good.

I'm not trying to rush into the new content yet because there's barely anyway. I'd rather them focus on making these episodes legit, before we get into filler zone.

Arc 2 will probably be fillers, or adaption of the Gaiden's/Manga

Yeah because one-dimentional characters are interesting . With the start of the academy we can know everyone's character more and interactions . U just want to watch for the action baby? Childish thinking

I don't want to watch for the action. I want something new, instead of introducing a new copy paste generation that don't have anything unique to pass on.

There are ways to develop a really good story and the characters without going back to the beginning, child. After the Momo fight, Kishi could use a new arc to push on the development of the other characters.

But I guess with you being 123Filler, it doesn't matter. And action? You're a hypocrite.

inojin is nothing like sai or Ino
chocho is completely nothing like choji
sarada isn't like sasuke and sakura
we've yet to see metal lee
