Boruto fought Iwabee, he got the best scores in the class. Boruto ranked second best in the entire class.

Boruto defeated him last second, but Iwabee got angry and decided to use his main weapon when Boruto outdid him.

The fight stopped last second.

I was pretty impressed. I get the feeling that Boruto hasn't learned any other ninjutsu bar the shadow clone jutsu (I know he just started the academy), but I hope they show him learning at least one or two elemental natures before he graduates from the Academy.

His Taijutsu, speed, and reflexes were that of a senior. Hell, Iwabee even called him clever. But in my opinion Boruto lacks power, which he can easily learn with those elemental natures he has before the Chunin Exams starts.
