Only 8 canon anime episodes aired. I stopped watching the anime since like 2012 but that is down right ridiculous.

my opinions on fillers improved after a certain user on here who i will not name made me see teh light....now i feel like filler=canon

tbh i enjoyed many fillers throughout the whole series both part one and part two.
though i agree. stupid shit like ninja ostrich, or that damn konoha mother defense forces episodes were ridiculous....

but other arcs like itachi chronicles, kakashi anbu arc, chikara arc, and all those other bigger filler arcs (like the one with the 3 tails or 6 tails etc) were pretty enjoyable imo. i never got the hate people have for fillers. i mean yea it sucks having to wait a whole week for just another episode but come on, just enjoy it. we get to see more of the nv and different countries, ninjas and techniques and stories etc. yea sure its not canon but who cares?
