Ah! I watched "Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge". I think it is unlike other shoujo animes, it's being sarcastic. Try it. This anime goes the opposite. The boys being pretty and the female main character is OK in look, but she herself likes gloomy and violent stuff. It's comedy.

Not shoujo but funny for you can be Nisekoi (False love)
I've heard that Vampire Knight is nice but I personally don't like the genre.
You can give a try to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, is one of the best anime i watched
