This image is from the Gaiden which Kishi drew and shows Sarada when she looks about 6 already in the academy. In chapter 700, I woud say they look about 8 but we don't know when they started so I use this since it shows them even younger already in the academy.

Now here is what they all look like when they are first starting the academy in the anime. Notice how they all look older than 700 much less Sarada in the Gaiden since she looks at leat 4-5 years older in the anime and she is supposed to be just starting the academy in the anime.

My question is since many of you think the new anime is supposed to by cannon, which do you consider mot cannon? The manga that Kishi drew or the anime? I would go with the Gaiden since they simply seem too old in the anime to be just starting the academy considering they barely look older in the movie which should be many years later.

But regardless, the anime changed up their clothing designs. I don't really know why anyone is comparing it to her really old clothes compared to her ninja clothes, IMO.

You are such a Bort apologist that it is sad. You don't think that the anime making them all look much older and almost as old as the movie is not a huge plot hole that effects things? It does have a large effect on the dynamic of the academy with them already being this old since we already see them graduated in the movie. Since they are already this old the don't have as much time to even grow in the academy plus how long could they even really be in the academy?

Ikemoto draw them looking older so maybe the anime team want to keep up with him. Anyway in the last chapter all the Konohamaru team looks like they are at least 15 y/o.

This is Sarada height in chapter 700. She is already in the academy here since Shino is her instructor.

As you can see she grows a lot but in the anime which should be at list a little before chapter 700 she looks almost just like the end of Gaiden version age wise.

A better example is here with Bort. Notice how short he is compared to Hinata in chapter 700.

He literally seems a full foot shorter in the 700 version. Something has to give.

Kishimoto drew Team Konohamaru in one of those side stories, and Boruto was the same height as Mitsuki, maybe even taller.

For the Movie however, SP listed Bolt as the shortest. Even Salad is taller.

This isn't new though. They usually are inconsistent with the Manga on a lot of things and do their own stuff.

I am not a Bolt fan. I dont like any of the new gen.In fact I dont like Adult Naruto or Sasuke either. They both behave awkardly and not like their young selves at all. And these edgy powerups seem like a wannabe Naruto and Sasuke to me so I am steering clear of any rehashes. They never turn out good. Even DB Super is still inferior to DBZ and I expect the same to be the case here. And I dont like the Hyuugas either just to be clear. Dont like it? Dont watch. When you discuss it increases its popularity undermining the very thing you want to oppose
