Yeah, it is odd. I don't really understand what's going on but I don't understand why Assad would gas civilians. It definitely doesn't help him, and the future was just looking bright for him.

Still, I am upset about the lack of outrage in regards to the US killing 200+ civilians in an airstrike in Mosul, Iraq, last month.

Yeah, 80+ people died from a chemical attack. Syria denies it, Russia said it was the result of Syrians bombing a facility for chemical weapons used by the rebels, while the States says it's the Syrian government, which is specifically why they launched missiles at Syria's base.

Also why should the united states foreign policy cater to what russia does?
