I am not so sure about Orochimaru but Sasuke sure would. And ofc he's with the ninja alliance but the leaf takes priority over the rest. Besides his daughter is a genin of the leaf and he cares for her.

My point is that Sasuke does that regardless of circumstance. Besides Gaara, no other kage would rush to the leaf and help them. The only reason they fought was because they were there.

Well as long as he's working for the sake of Konoha he's been given a free hand. Anyway its quite clear from gaiden that he went on a secret mission to gather intel on Momo.
Lol, the alliances between villages after war is different. Best example would be Naruto's rescue were the Kages volunteered themselves to go save Naruto so you're wrong. Its another thing that they were not much help but fact remains that they decided to help on their own.
