Do you think the designs will get better overtime?
I feel like the adaption is straying closer to the canon, which is the Manga. But that artist seems to have an older style for female characters, and the men like to sport belts that seem lose with very baggy clothing. You can see the mix here.
Anyway as far as canon (Manga) goes, I think they fixed the latter issues of hair, and are grasping body proportions. But they are trying to hard to be creative with the designs. The anime is incorporating simplicity, but it still comes off as awkward.
Though these are just stills. So it's not really big deal I guess? Animation or at least the designs differ based on who is animating that particular episode.
That's usually why our characters never looks consistent.
Himiwiri is just a toddler Hinata with whiskers. Nothing original or impressive about that.

Better resolution for the academy designs. Looks alright to me.
I its just me or does Boruto have the most punchable face you ever saw ?

I mean look above you.You obviously don't get out much if you think a chinese drawing has a punch-able face.
I don't get why they didn't stick with her original design.
The Manga design is weird. She looks more girly than Sakura ... but she's mentally stronger than her. So why does she look like a pretty girl?
