It's not milked because when Boruto the movie premiered many naruto voice actors espcecially Boruto's demanded that kishi continue Boruto . He rejected that but they returned it through an anime and a manga done by someone else.

What do we know about japan? Many japanese fans demand more Naruto content . It sells like hell there that's why it's not about milking it's about listening to the fans and the demands .

Tell me why isn't Bleach having spinoffs or an anime about his son? Because it's not demanded like Naruto

I call bull. Naruto is milked, which is why we have so much filler garbage than Canon episodes.

What's sad is that the Filler episodes have better animation quality than the Canon episodes.

Lmao, yes it is milked. It is unequivocally, undeniably milked. It's was/is being milked so hard, that the Got Milk? Campaign created a spin-off campaign in the franchises honor.

What you say is true; the Japanese audience do not care for the absolutely atrocious filler ratio, they would likely keep watching pure filler for a few more years if not more. But just because the demand is there, does not mean that a show is not being milked to take advantage of its audience base for all they're worth. ESPECIALLY when dealing with something like an anime series based off of a manga—when the anime continued for nearly three years after the manga ended, the anime lost all credibility for any representation of it not milking the show for every last penny it can get. There is a time and place for filler with a continuously running anime like Naruto, however the filler became so misused that it began very clear that SP actually was allocating their budget more in favor of the filler and fluff rather than the canon material itself.

And yes, this is present even in the yet-to-be-released Boruto anime.

Games of Naruto are milked; same combat engine every year but roster of characters and ultimate jutsus might change.

Boruto, no new content despite original film being 2 years old. Anime is telling a prequel and manga spent 10 months rehashing the movie's story.

Kishi milks his own manga with pointless one-shots (Mitsuki, Day Naruto Became Hokage) and 10 chapter troll arc that was Gaiden.


Series is terrible now.
