Kaguya's had Byakugan. Does this mean she had chakra before consuming the fruit.

everyone has chakra. it is considered lifeforce in most lore anyways.

But sticking to NV, Kaguya and her people are known to possess the KG byakugan.

From what we can speculate with the interactions between Momoshiki and Kinshiki, they have the ability to consume other people's chakra.
Before Kinishiki sacrificed himself, he gave us a hint that his mentor also gave himself by turning into a chakra fruit.

Animals and the tree you could say have plenty of chakra as they are one with nature, senjutsu, to the point they are overflowing with it and they can actually use some of it for ninjutsu.

So my speculation is that since humans are so detached from nature and dependent on technology, they can no longer naturally accumulate more chakra. They are then stuck with their own chakra and any attempt of using manipulation on their own chakra can result to death or falling ill. So they simply just stuck to their tools.

In Kaguya's planet, since they can absorb other people's life essence/chakra, there must have been battles and wars to consume one another so that they can grow stronger. We can see this happening in the Uchiha clan in which they murder others for each their's eyes to get stronger and more powerful. The same with Hyuga clan having their eyes stolen, hence the seal.

I assume that is why Kaguya fled. I believe that she started out as a benevolent being and was looking for a way to stop the war in her home planet. Then she found her solution but she found the same problem occurring on Earth and the rest became history.

true, they are born with it, no dispute. but you are wrong about the Tenseigan/Rinnegan theory. They get Tenseigan when an Otsutsuki implants a Hyuga Byakugan, it bonds with their Otsutsuki chakra and evolves into Tenseigan

It's strange how that works considering the Hyuga descend from them. If anything taking each others eyes should give them the Tenseigan like Uchihas' with MS taking their siblings eyes awaken the EMS.

By facts yes. She ran from her home planet cuz Momo and Kinshiki who had Byakugan(seems all Otsutsuki have it) went to earth ate the chakra fruit became Juubi. It seem only people on earth never had chakra.

IDK where I came across this or whether or not it is a fact but it would seem that wherever Kaguya and her people are from, it is similar to Earth.

They also had a God Tree in which they can gain chakra from however they all exhausted every resources from that planet.

Assuming my theory of them is correct, which is that they use their innate ability to consume/absorb lifeforce by turning it into chakra fruit, they must have turned evrey living being into chakra and devour it all for their hunger for power.

Once everything is dead, all that is left is Kaguya and her people in which they started to turn into one another and started to devour the other's lifeforces.

I'm rather convinced that it is the case as they say Kaguya was on the run and Momoshiki and Kinshiki were looking for her. Also the fact that the idea of the White Zetsus backed this idea up as well since the godtree takes away people's chakra thus killing them.

So to say humans have never had any chakra to begin with might not be the case.

In other lores, chakra is basically one's life essence. It is also hinted in Part 1 when they were taught about the idea and certain uses of chakra, too lazy to look for the scan.

But I think humans simply did not have enough of it nor the knowledge to manipulate their own chakra until Kaguya showed up.

It's practically confirmed the otsutsuki clan had chakra for generation, they can pass on their chakra to the next. Besides, kaguya and the otsutsuki had to have some jutsu that allowed them to travel between worlds. I'm pretty sure, hagoromo is the one who gave chakra to the sage animals.

Hagaroma was taught by toad sage who would become the elder toad that would give the prophecy. Sages already have chakra. They weren't given chakra. I don't have any proof since the great toad sage didn't perform any jutsu but the toad sage did give hagaroma the paper seal of sage chakra that has been passed down from sage to sage. With this being said hagamaru wasn't alive during the time of the former toad sages.
