How dark do you think they are willing Get in the Boruto Series?

There is conflicting information on just how dark the new series will get. On one hand the series seems like it will start on a light hearted note and Kishi hinted that it would not be too dark. Still the last chapter hinted that things will get quite dark for Boruto and the flash forward looked quite bad with a destroyed village and hints of Naruto's death. My question though is just how dark is the new series willing to go. Are they really willing to kill off a bunch of Kishi's characters or is it just a trick to get you drawn in. I mean in the flash forward Boruto looks like a combination of Sasuke, Kakashi, and Naruto who all had tragic pasts and were orphans. Can the new writers really make that believable as well as have Boruto follow in Sasuke's path if all his friends and family are still alive? Would they actually kill people like Naruto, Sasuke, as well as even his mother or sister and also even one of his teammates for the sake of his and potentially others development?

Well, I believe that it's very likely for Naruto or Sasuke to die when Boruto is truly ready to step into their shoes and take their place as the protector of the 'verse. Heroic deaths are a big part of the Naruto series; it'd be a shame not knowing how Naruto and Sasuke die. What opponent was mighty enough to vanquish them, what they died to protect, who they entrusted the future to, etc.

Hopefully it's as dark the manga and the episode about exploding bodies. The only thing that I wish is that they don't overuse the blood.

But the only joy I could really get out of the series is to see Naruto's over hyped new family burn to the ground.

That is a lot to expect considering Kishi's target audience isn't lovers of blood-spilling and morbid endings.

Yeah I have no expectations of that and don't plan to really follow the new series much either but that is what I want. Plus let's not act like the spilling of blood and morbid scenes were not shown throughout the Naruto series.
